-         Connecting Wi-Fi service:

The zNID 24xxB1 series supports dual-band radios 2.4 GHz 802.11 b/g/n and 5.8 GHz 802.11ac. From your Wi-Fi device connect to the desired Wi-Fi radio band, kindly refer to the following default Wi-Fi credentials:

a.       2.4 GHz 802.11 b/g/n band:

·        SSID: Zhone_"last4MACchar"

·         Network authentication: WPA2-PSK

·        WPA/WAPI password phrase: znid(ONTserial#)

·        Example: ONT MAC address available on printed label at the rear side of the ONT: 00:02:71:61:50:b5

ONT serial number available on printed label

at the rear side of the ONT: 306377653

SSID: Zhone_50b5

Network authentication: WPA2-PSK

WPA/WAPI password phrase: znid306377653

b.        5.8 GHz 802.11ac band:

·        SSID: Zhone_"last4MACchar"

NOTE: For security the Wi-Fi default credentials should be changed by the user.

-         Logging in locally to the zNID:

The zNID 24xxB1 series may be managed from Web UI. This section describes logging into the zNID locally using the subscriber facing LAN port, GE1:

a.       Connect an Ethernet cable from your computer to GE1 on the zNID.

b.       Launch a browser (Chrome) and direct it to 192.168.1.1 as follows: http://192.168.1.1

c.       Enter the username and password as follows:

Default username: user

Default password: user

NOTE: For security the Web UI default password should be changed by the user.
